TODD HEYMAN began his career at New England's largest adveartising agency, Hill Holliday. A move to New York, landed Heyman in the film promotion world, developing trailer and poster campaigns and rebranding for Miramax Films.
After pushing several high profile projects, Heyman was ready to tackle his own, writing and directing the story of a pregnant assassin, Prodigy. 180 degrees later, he wrote and helmed his second film, an Amelie-like tale of art, love and confection, WHOLEY MOSES, starring Stephan Paternot, Linda Hamilton (Terminator I & II), Shannyn Sossamon (A Knights Tale, Rules Of Attraction, 40 Days & 40 Nights) and lensed by notorious music video cinematographer David Phillips (The Basketball Diaries and the Sundance favorite, Lift). A finalist at the Tribeca Film Festival and the USA Film Festival (an Academy Awards qualifier) as
well as competing in festivals across the globe, the film and played exclusively on both HBO and Cinemax nationally and internationally.
Heyman's commercial directing career is flourishing. His first spot, Nike "The Getaway", was an honoree for Best Commercial at the 2008 Webby Awards and has been praised in numerous publications including Shoot. His Hagerty Auto Insurance "Cougar" Spot was selected by Creativity Magazine's Top Ten and his AAMCO campaign was featured in AdWeek and AdAge. Heyman writes his own treatments, draws his boards and edits his own spots.
An accomplished screenwriter, Heyman is currently in development on several
film projects.
